We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our Engineering team and support the design and development of automotive body structures and battery housing systems. In this customer-facing role, you will lead product development from concept to production, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, manufacturability, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead product design and development for BIW body structures and battery housing projects.
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA or NX.
- Collaborate with OEM customers and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready designs.
- Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, cost, safety, durability, and NVH.
- Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance stack-up analysis, interface reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R;, and GD&T; activities.
- Manage engineering changes,



technical documentation, and support prototype builds and production issue resolution.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive body structure and/or battery enclosure design.
- Proficiency with CATIA or NX and strong knowledge of GD&T; (ASME Y14.5), DFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Experience with aluminum and/or high-strength steel structures; familiarity with extrusion, stamping, welding, riveting, or related manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Robust problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills in a global environment.
