In this role, you will support Yukon University’s commitment to Indigenous student success. Collaborating with First Nations, Elders, and community partners, you’ll enhance learning experiences and evaluate program effectiveness. Your contributions will ensure that all initiatives align with Yukon First Nations’ priorities and the principles of Indigenous Data Sovereignty.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate learning and reflection with EleV partners
• Lead evaluation activities and report on program outcomes
• Build relationships with community stakeholders and colleagues
• Coordinate impactful projects supporting reconciliation efforts
• Provide advice on Indigenous-focused initiatives and strategies
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in program management or community development
• Knowledge of Yukon First Nations history and cultures
• Proven skills in strategic thinking and relationship-building
• Lived experience in Indigenous communities beneficial
