Join Carewest as a part time Recreation Therapist at Signal Pointe and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Your role will focus on leisure education and therapeutic recreation.

In this temporary position, you will be responsible for assessing and responding to the recreational needs of clients within a supportive team workplace. You'll create tailored treatment plans and lead engaging activities while also guiding support staff and volunteers. Adheres to the ATRA Standards of Practice to ensure ethical service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute treatment plans based on client assessments
• Facilitate and coordinate recreational activities for residents
• Oversee orientation for support staff and volunteers




• Maintain compliance with Carewest’s ethical standards
• Complete other duties as necessary

Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Recreation Therapy program
• Current membership with ATRA is mandatory
• Basic Life Support CPR certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recreation therapy experience preferred
• Proven ability to work with various client populations
