Join the Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo as a dedicated Maintenance Planning Specialist. Focused on facility maintenance, your role will involve strategic planning and management of maintenance projects.
This full time, permanent position involves working onsite to ensure compliance with AZA standards and developing asset management plans. You will manage operational programs, prepare cost and time estimates, and collaborate with vendors to foster improvements in maintenance efficiency. Your teamwork will support continuous performance measurement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and schedule maintenance and project work
• Implement enhancements for the CMMS for better resource use
• Prepare estimates and oversee vendor contracts
• Maintain documentation for fleet and equipment management
• Support stakeholders in maintaining preventive maintenance plans
Requirements:
• 7+ years in operational facilities maintenance
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Relevant certification such as PMP or FMP preferred
• Class 5 Driver License from Alberta
