Make a significant impact in resident care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at AgeCare South Terrace, Edmonton. Collaborate with a supportive team to provide compassionate, person-centered nursing care.
As an LPN, you will report to the Director of Care, playing a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, goal-directed care that enhances the dignity of residents. Your responsibilities include conducting resident assessments, implementing and evaluating care plans, and coordinating with physicians and the care team. You will manage medications, educate families, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct resident assessments and maintain accurate care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Participate in resident care conferences and transitions
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide direction and oversight to care providers
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration in Alberta
• Experience in senior or long-term care preferred
• Robust clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Willingness to complete Vulnerable Sector Check
