Our client is looking for a Commercial Underwriter to join their growing team. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for an underwriter with commercial auto experience who is looking to build a long-term career with a reliable organization that invests in employee development.
What You'll Do Underwrite current and renewal commercial automobile business within delegated authority
Build and maintain robust relationships with transportation brokers
Analyze risk, pricing, and coverage to maintain a profitable portfolio
Collaborate with underwriting assistants and internal teams to deliver exceptional service
Support broker training, special projects, and underwriting initiatives
What You'll Bring Post-secondary education or equivalent experience




CIP designation (or actively pursuing)
Minimum 1 year of Commercial Automobile underwriting experience
Knowledge of trucking, fleet, or transportation risks is an asset
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
