NTC is seeking a passionate Clinical Counsellor for its Teechuktl program, emphasizing the balance of clinical methods and Quu’asa values. In this part time role, you will provide essential counselling services throughout the Central Regions, including travel to remote areas by various means. Effective delivery of mental health services will be your focus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set and follow a schedule for community visits
• Develop strategies for effective service delivery
• Keep electronic records updated
• Facilitate counselling in challenging environments
• Integrate Quu’asa values in clinical practices
Requirements:
• Master’s in Psychology, Counselling, or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant frontline experience
• Registered with a qualified association
• Knowledge of Nuu-chah-nulth culture
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
