This role at the Current Glasgow Recovery Support Centre specializes in providing addiction medicine care within a multidisciplinary team. As a full-time position (0.2 FTE), you'll engage in outpatient treatments including Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and develop individualized care plans. Your work will emphasize patient-centered assessments and team-oriented treatment methods to ensure quality addiction care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive outpatient assessments for addiction treatment
• Deliver Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and pharmacologic care
• Develop tailored treatment plans for each patient
• Collaborate with primary care providers and community partners
• Facilitate referrals to additional health supports
Requirements:
• Current medical license from CPSNS or eligibility for licensure
• Eligible for CFPC or Royal College certification
• Experience or certification in Addiction Medicine is an asset
• Active membership with CMPA
• Commitment to patient-centered care
