Lakeridge Health is seeking a Part Time OT/PT Assistant to support its comprehensive resident therapy program at the recent long-term care home. You will play a vital role in assisting the Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist and implementing individualized therapeutic plans. Experience in a long-term care setting is beneficial but not required for those passionate about resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement client activation programs
• Carry out individual therapeutic programs as directed
• Participate in care planning and documentation
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
Requirements:
• Completion of OT/PT Assistant diploma/certificate
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform essential job duties
• Must provide a Criminal Investigation Reference
