As a Mechanical Apprentice, you'll work under the Maintenance Supervisor in a supportive team setting. This role emphasizes the importance of safety and effective operations while using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You'll interpret manuals, maintain equipment, and uphold Agnico Eagle's commitment to sustainability and community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret technical manuals and write service reports
• Maintain and lubricate mining equipment
• Perform preventative and service maintenance on trucks
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
• Monitor equipment safety and efficiency
Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Registration in target apprenticeship with a valid blue book
• Experience in CMMS preferred
• Basic computer skills and understanding of hydraulic schematics
• Effective communication skills
