Overview Rate of Pay: $17.60 per hour Duration: Approx. Position Details Department: Analytics & AI Position Purpose: The Seasonal Data and Analytics position is responsible for assisting with data collection, transformation, analysis and visualization tasks to support data-driven decision-making. This position will assist and provide support in implementing the Strategic Plan. Core Role Responsibilities Assist with large volumes of data cleaning, processing and integration from multiple sources. Support the maintenance, development and organization of structured datasets for analysis and reporting. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends and other insights. Assist with the development and refinement of reports, interactive dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft PowerBI or other similar data visualization and business intelligence tools. Collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups across the organization to understand data needs in order to assist with standardizing data collection methods and implementing quality control procedures. Assist with documenting data processes, workflows and methodologies for reference. Assist with the automation of data preparation and reporting processes where feasible. Follows all policies and branch instructions. Attends appropriate training as required.



Technical Knowledge And Skills Current student or recent graduate with post-secondary qualifications in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field; or the equivalentamount of training and related experience. Must have 6 months – 1 year of proven experience in the core task responsibilities of the position. Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office/365 suite of applications. Must have basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools. Proficiency and experience in SQL, Python, R or other data manipulation and analysis tools is an asset. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Well-developed interpersonal skills, along with strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Working knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act and WHMIS legislation an asset. Must be able to work weekends, shifts and holidays as scheduled. Must be able to deal with staff and public in a courteous and productive manner. Capable of meeting the physical requirements of the position.
