Shape your future as an Electrical Engineer in Training at Elk Valley Resources. This role offers hands-on experience with electrical systems that play a crucial role in processing facilities.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer Supervisor, Process, you will engage in a variety of tasks, from ensuring safety compliance to troubleshooting electrical systems. Collaboration is key as you work with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment reliability and optimize processes, while also gaining valuable industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety programs
• Design and troubleshoot electrical systems for facilities
• Collaborate to share electrical engineering best practices
• Support capital projects and commissioning phases
• Maintain and update technical documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting
• Registration eligibility with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia
• Familiarity with control systems and instrumentation
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
