Contribute to the health of Residents at Valley Manor as a Registered Dietician with a focus on gerontology. Develop care plans, provide education, and ensure nutritional needs are met.

Valley Manor is looking for a passionate Registered Dietician to assess and improve nutritional status in long-term care settings. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating tailored nutritional plans, and guiding dietary staff. This position requires team collaboration, robust communication, and organizational skills for effective implementation of dietary interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess nutrition and hydration risk for every Resident
• Conduct RAI-MDS assessments during key times
• Respond to dietary referrals efficiently




• Liaise with families to develop nutrition care plans
• Review and modify seasonal menus for Residents

Requirements:
• Member in positive standing of the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Must complete TB testing and police checks
• Experience in gerontology and Long Term Care advantageous
• Effective communication and organizational skills required
• Knowledge of Point Click Care programs preferred
