This role requires a certified Inter-Provincial Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic based in Alberta, fully equipped with hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration. You will engage in system monitoring, installation of refrigeration units, and compliance with safety protocols while keeping accurate temperature settings for food preservation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures
• Monitor system pressures and performance data




• Maintain documentation for compliance with regulations
• Assist with installation of recent refrigeration systems
Requirements:
• Inter-Provincial Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic certification
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
• Long-term experience in refrigeration installation and repair
• Knowledge of refrigeration codes and safety standards
• Willingness to work on-call for emergencies
