Become a vital part of the M.A.Desautels Faculty of Music as a Concert Hall Technician. This full time role requires expertise in audio, lighting, and visual equipment management.
The University of Manitoba is seeking a Concert Hall Technician - Tech 4. You will apply your skills to ensure seamless event setup and technical support while collaborating effectively with the Concert Hall Coordinator. With a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, this position allows you to thrive in a energetic concert hall setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare equipment and anticipate requirements for events
• Repair and maintain equipment following university policies
• Document incidents of loss, theft, or damage
• Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and performances
• Provide technical guidance to students and academics
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3 years of experience in similar venues
• Proficient with audio and lighting equipment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
