This role is designed for hydraulic experts who are looking to lead advanced modelling efforts while mentoring less experienced colleagues. You will work hands-on in practical settings to influence critical projects while engaging with Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct technical leadership in complex hydraulic modeling projects
• Validate and develop hydraulic models using specialized tools
• Conduct analyses of climate-driven and ice-affected systems
• Provide expertise in flood risk assessments and mapping
• Support mentorship and development of junior engineering staff
Requirements:
• 5–10 years' experience in hydraulics or hydrotechnical engineering
• High proficiency in hydraulic modeling software
• Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering
• P.Eng. eligible in a Canadian province
• Proven ability to lead projects and build client rapport
