OverviewThe Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of recent or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of software development: design, coding, testing, deployment, and supportDevelop robust front-end UI, back-end services, and API layers with secure and scalable patternsBuild microservices, API gateways, integration flows, and modular service componentsImplement CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Harness, and Git-based workflowsWrite automation scripts and configuration tasks using AnsibleDeploy and optimize applications on Linux/Windows servers and containerized environmentsTroubleshoot complex issues across applications, networking, OS, API, and data layersProvide architectural guidance, define best practices, and enforce coding standardsWork closely with business users, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsRecommend and implement security measures, ensuring secure design and deploymentProduce clear documentation, operational runbooks,



and technical design artifactsQualifications4+ years of relevant experienceExperience in systems analysis and programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsWorking knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methodsAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsEducationBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
