Join KBL as a Waste Management Labourer/Driver in Yellowknife, NT, focusing on safety and efficiency. Your role will involve operating equipment and managing waste in various outdoor conditions.
As part of the Waste Services department, you'll collaborate with the Lead Hand to ensure timely waste management in compliance with TDG regulations. Responsibilities include preparing waste for transport, engaging with customers, performing equipment checks, and maintaining accurate documentation. You'll have the chance to work independently in remote locations and assist in larger project tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle and prepare waste in compliance with TDG standards
• Offer outstanding customer support during services
• Inspect and ensure safety of all equipment used
• Maintain accurate load sheets and inventory reports
• Load and unload trailers, managing customer drop-offs effectively
Requirements:
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Solid focus on safety and reliability
• Previous experience in labour or driving in the North is advantageous
• Willingness to travel for work assignments
