The Town of Oakville is looking for a part time Specialized Instructor – Dance to deliver engaging programs in various styles such as jazz, ballet, and hip hop. This role involves creating an inclusive atmosphere that encourages skill development and personal growth while ensuring participant safety. The instructor will adapt lessons to meet individual abilities and needs while providing effective feedback throughout the course.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead inclusive dance programs for registered youth
• Create a positive and protected learning setting




• Deliver lesson plans according to program objectives
• Monitor participant progress with evaluations
• Report participant concerns and program challenges
Requirements:
• Competitive dance experience in one or more styles
• Current Intermediate First Aid with CPR C certification
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
• Coaching certification preferred
• Successful clearance of criminal record check
