Purpose The successful applicant must be competent in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Surface mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and effective operations.
Responsibilities Responsible for troubleshooting, installing, disassembling, repairing, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on surface stationary equipment. IE: pumps, conveyors, crushers, mills, compressors, rock breakers.
Responsible for compliance with OHSA, Corporate and PGM Environmental Regulations, Safety and Sustainability Standards.
Responsible to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals both within the department and cross-department.
Must be highly motivated, organized and must be capable of decision-making.
Responsible for providing own tools.
Must be able to work with a team or alone as required.
Assisting in other works areas may be required.
Training and Education Must be a certified Industrial Mechanic-Millwright.
Good knowledge of compressors, pumps and hoisting plant including conveyance, pumps, crushers, compressors, mills, agitators, piping and hydraulic system such as rock breaking system.
Excellent communication, interpersonal,



computer and written skills.
Must be able to organize work and self-motivate.
Must be willing to work with others.
