This position requires a graduate from a recognized School of Pharmacy, eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll be involved in patient counseling, medication monitoring, and drug utilization reviews while mentoring students and liaising with community pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients
• Conduct patient counseling and medication monitoring
• Mentor pharmacy students and contribute to their learning
• Liaise with Community Pharmacists on medication management
• Participate in clinical pharmacy research initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital
• Registration eligibility with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator
• Solid teaching ability and critical appraisal experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
