Stantec seeks an intermediate archaeologist to join its Yukon archaeological team located in Whitehorse. You will focus on heritage resource impact assessments, research, and leading field programs. Applicants should be eligible for Yukon Class 2 ASR permits and have a solid commitment to safety and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform heritage resource impact assessments in the field
• Collaborate with project management on HRIA projects
• Travel extensively for remote archaeological assessments




• Mentor and direct field teams on projects
• Utilize GIS tools for data preparation and reporting

Requirements:
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in archaeology
• Three years of supervisory fieldwork experience
• Proficient in site assessment and artifact analysis
• Excellent communication with diverse audiences
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and remote access vehicle experience
