In your role as Lead Counsel, you will lead legal support for Panasonic’s Canadian operations, addressing a range of legal issues including corporate governance, compliance, and contractual matters. You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and the company's goals while mitigating legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver legal advice on operational and employment matters
• Evaluate business prospects and identify legal risks
• Negotiate and draft commercial and government contracts




• Advise on compliance with competition law and privacy regulations
• Support corporate governance activities and compliance initiatives

Requirements:
• Juris Doctor or equivalent and licensed with the Law Society of Ontario
• Over 10 years in corporate/commercial law
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and contract law
• Solid analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships
