In the role of Inspector, your primary mandate will be to ensure the inspection and compliance of control panels manufactured in office. More precisely, you will have to : Read and interpret electrical drawings;
Inspect control panels and power panels according to established criteria, standards, and specifications;
Ensure that electrical control panels comply with design plans;
Perform live voltage testing;
Complete inspection reports;
Attend certification meetings;
Provide support to production for equipment assembly and wiring;
Keep knowledge up to date regarding codes and standards;
Correct deficiencies or errors when necessary;
Comply with occupational health and safety standards;
Perform any other related tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS Hold a college diploma or a vocational diploma in electromechanics, electricity, industrial electronics, or any other equivalent training;
5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position;
Knowledge of CSA and UL standards (an asset);
Demonstrate solid organizational abilities;
Display attention to details;
Operate independently while ensuring rigorous alignment with company goals.
