Exciting chance for a Temporary Math Educator at Houston Secondary School! Starting September 1, 2026, you will engage students through Principals of Math 11 and Apprenticeship and Workplace Math 11.

This position is a 1.0 FTE temporary assignment effective until December 31, 2026. The ideal candidate will have university qualifications and demonstrated teaching experience. Your role will include supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs and guiding them on educational and career paths with knowledge of BC's Graduation Program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach various math courses including CLC 12 and CLE 10
• Build supportive relationships with students and families
• Collaborate with school-wide instructional teams




• Provide guidance on career planning and post-secondary education
• Participate in career development and staff meetings

Requirements:
• University level education in math or related subjects
• Proven experience teaching at secondary level
• Current understanding of BC education standards
• Ability to perform risk assessment and crisis intervention
• Commitment to inclusive education practices
