We are seeking a motivated and reliable Laborer to join our team for dry ice blasting projects. This temporary position requires camp work or out-of-town work and offers the prospect to transition into an Electrical Apprenticeship for candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic and aptitude. The role involves physically demanding tasks, including operating dry ice blasting equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and assisting with site setup and cleanup.
Key Responsibilities
Perform dry ice blasting tasks to clean industrial equipment and surfaces.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Assist with equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record.
Clear Background Check:
Successful completion required prior to hiring.
Drug Testing: Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various settings.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
Availability for Camp/Out-of-Town Work: Willingness to work at remote sites or stay in camp accommodations as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Underground Common Core Certification: Considered a strong asset.
Previous experience in dry ice blasting or similar industrial cleaning methods.
Interest in pursuing an electrical apprenticeship or related trade.
