to support and encourage prospective and current postdoctoral fellows to be part of our vibrant community.The OpportunityAs the Graduate Business Systems Analyst, you will act as the YSGPS technical and project support resource and functional expert, providing analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, training, and ongoing support for systems and assigned projects to assist YSGPS in meeting objectives and undertaking key work processes in an effective and efficient manner.Investigate and recommend new systems and reporting platforms/templates and improvements to support the objectives of YSGPS and the graduate and postdoctoral community at TMU.Ensure that business and user requirements are understood and translated into appropriate technical language and functionality, through collaboration with team members and other stakeholders across the university.Provide ongoing support to YSGPS for implementing new systems, system updates/upgrades, and future phases/releases of functionality/features.Serve as a liaison with the business functional experts/leads, as well as vendors/service providers and end users.QualificationsTo help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications:Successful completion of a post-secondary degree program in a technical field relevant to Information Technology projects/operations (e.G. Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, etc.)Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience working in Information Technology or a related field with the following requirements:Experience administering packaged web-based environments/platforms/tools; using Google Workspace developer products; performing technical troubleshooting; gathering and documenting requirements; developing and implementing user testing and end-user training; and developing test scripts.Working knowledge of database technologies, web application design and implementation, and data architecture.Demonstrated understanding and ability to incorporate understanding of technology infrastructure and related areas, including but not limited to: servers and server architecture, networks, Active Directory, client/server models, security,
