Senior Administrative Professional – Vancouver

BDO Canada is seeking a Senior Administrative Professional to support the Assurance Executive Team. This new role will own the following responsibilities:

- Handling confidential and sensitive client information.
- Providing direct administrative support to Partners, Senior Managers and professional staff as part of the administrative services team.
- Preparing financial statements and related documents using Caseview, Word, or Excel up to the finished product.
- Quality controlling visual presentation of financial statements, including proofreading, cross‑referencing, and final issuance.
- Converting financial statements and other documentation into various electronic formats (PDF, Caseview to Word).
- Locking down and archiving files and tax returns in a paperless data storage system.
- Printing, processing, assembling and e‑filing tax forms such as T1, T2, T3, T3010, T4, T4A, T5, GST, etc.
- Ensuring all working papers, tax documents, correspondence and other items are filed correctly.
- Ensuring timely delivery of client service directly or by supporting professional staff.
- Checking working paper files for sign off on specific forms and following up with Partners/Managers when not signed.
- Resolving routine matters to conserve Partner time; liaising and following up on issues as directed by the Partner, Senior Manager, or Manager.
- Assisting Partners, staff during vacations, illness and other absenteeism.
- Providing support to other admin and staff team members as required.
- Assisting with reception relief and file room as required.

Experience and Education

- At least 3‑5 years of administration experience.
- Office Administration diploma (or related).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong judgment, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a deadline‑driven environment and handling confidential information.
- Strong written and oral communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Teamwork, client service and quality orientation.
- Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.

Pay Range

$45k - $75k annually
