About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Permitting and Regulatory Affairs to take a hands-on, central role in the disciplined execution of permitting, regulatory compliance, and mineral tenure management. This is a ground-up execution position, not a supervisory or advisory role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing exploration permits, coordinating supporting authorizations, and maintaining a comprehensive permitting roadmap. The role is pivotal in ensuring that exploration programs advance efficiently, responsibly, and in full regulatory compliance, with a focus on establishing consistent, scalable regulatory systems across the organization's project portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience with mineral exploration permitting in British Columbia, including Notice of Work processes and Mines Act requirements, and a proven track record in managing mineral tenure portfolios and regulatory compliance tracking systems. They should be a practical, detail-oriented qualified with a solid sense of ownership, and the ability to proactively manage regulator inquiries and follow-ups. A postsecondary education in a related discipline is required, and qualified designations such as P.Geo., P.Eng., or R.P.Bio. are considered assets. Familiarity with U.S. permitting systems is also an asset. The role demands a candidate who is dependable, highly organized, and takes pride in accurate, defensible recordkeeping, and who can work closely with technical and project teams to maintain consistent regulatory discipline across all assets.
