Ashcroft Terminal and the PSA Group are seeking a Temporary Equipment Operator to join our growing team!
As the only private logistics terminal in Canada with CP & CN mainlines onsite, ATL is strategically located to help shippers, manufacturers, and producers prepare their commodities for export or import. As a member of PSA International, Ashcroft Terminal is part of a global network of supply chain specialists!
In the position of Equipment Operator , the successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Operate heavy machinery and equipment to perform day-to-day operation tasks.
Load and unload fuel from a rail car into a transport truck.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and workflow.
As required, perform general labour tasks to assist with site maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized work setting.
For success in this role, you must have:
Your Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
The ability to perform physically repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
The ability to work outside year-round in all weather conditions during irregular working hours.
In this position, you can look forward to a four-on, four-off (12-hour shift) schedule.
