Reporting to the Computing Science Coordinator, the Technician/Programmer will develop software and maintain infrastructures for effective teaching. You will ensure secure environments for student submissions and oversee systems for programming events, all the while remaining compliant with departmental security measures. Engage with students and faculty to promote best practices in computing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop secure, accessible computing environments for coursework
• Manage password structures and access for students
• Implement systems for competitive events and conferences
• Analyze and upgrade computing infrastructure continually
• Support faculty and students in using technology properly
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Two to three years of related experience preferred
• Current knowledge of software development practices
• Ability to learn recent technologies quickly
• Experience with LINUX and web programming
