Responsibilities

Oversee daily grain and pulse processing operations including receiving, cleaning, grading, sizing, splitting, loading/unloading, and storage

Operate and supervise processing equipment including cleaners, gravity tables, de‑stoners, indents, and color sorters

Ensure product quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards

Lead and supervise a team of approximately 15 employees

Coordinate production schedules and workflow





Support maintenance activities and troubleshoot operational issues

Track plant performance, maintain production records, and drive continuous improvement

Foster a positive, accountable team setting

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in grain or pulse processing (Plant Operator, Lead Hand, Supervisor, Assistant Plant Manager, or Plant Manager)

Experience operating grain/pulse processing equipment and grading products

Previous leadership experience in grain, agriculture, food processing, or commodities

Knowledge of plant operations, maintenance coordination, and troubleshooting

Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills

Knowledge of food safety and workplace safety standards
