Enhance client functions as an Occupational Therapist with Nova Scotia Health. Collaborate with patients and their caregivers in various community and hospital settings across Nova Scotia.
As a vital member of the Rehabilitation Services team, you will work closely under the Manager's supervision, focusing on individualized treatment plans for optimal patient functionality. This role requires competency in communication and assessment skills, prioritizing case management while providing support and education to clients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop tailored treatment plans for clients
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of progress
• Provide education and support to families and caregivers
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team
• Contribute to the clinical education of OT students
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
• Licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Access to reliable transportation
• Competencies in French are an asset
