As a General Duty Nurse (N2) within the JL3 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Health Sciences Centre, you will deliver critical care in-person, emphasizing your knowledge and experience. This full time role requires proficiency in nursing care standards and a commitment to patient-centered practices. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of acute nursing experience, with preference given to those skilled in pediatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients in critical conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive care
• Maintain knowledge of nursing standards and ethical practices
• Calculate medications accurately during patient assessments
• Adapt to changing situations and settings effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of acute nursing experience
• Graduate of a Registered Nursing program
• Successful completion of a post-basic ICU course preferred
• CPR certification at the Health Care Provider Level
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
