The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology is seeking a casual hourly Aviation Maintenance Instructor. This job requires a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a Transport Canada AME “M” license. Candidates should be passionate about providing quality instruction to junior high and high school youth while maintaining safety and compliance with SAIT’s child-safeguarding policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver ASYS-245 dual-credit courses aligned with SAIT standards
• Prepare lessons, exams, and lab demonstrations




• Manage classroom and lab settings effectively
• Maintain accurate attendance and grading records
• Build rapport with learners and stakeholders

Requirements:
• Minimum two-year diploma in relevant field
• Five years of related industry experience
• Licensed AME with genuine interest in youth education
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Experience in dual-credit teaching is an asset
