The Safety Coordinator will enhance our workplace health and safety initiatives while maintaining compliance with regulations. You’ll coordinate safety training, oversee incident management, and assist in continuous improvement of safety practices. Collaborating with the Safety Director and various teams, you’ll help foster a culture of safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation
• Coordinate employee safety training and onboarding
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations
• Support WSIB claim administration
• Track inspections and corrective actions
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of safety coordination experience
• Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Joint Health & Safety Committee Certification is an asset
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
