Overview

Our Westminster team is looking for a patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant for a permanent part-time role, working Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe workplace.
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver productive, high‑quality care.




Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Establish solid patient relationships while maintaining ethical qualified behaviour.

Qualifications
Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
