Join Nova Scotia Health as a part time Psychologist PhD focused on Mental Health and Addictions. Deliver psychotherapy, consultation, and assessments while working within an interdisciplinary team.
In this temporary role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide care, develop treatment plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include individual and group therapy, psychological assessments, and working closely with community agencies. Candidates will engage in clinical supervision and education programs, enhancing their career development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions
• Conduct psychological assessments and structured clinical interviews
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Participate in peer supervision and clinical development initiatives
Requirements:
• PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
• Registered or eligible for registration with the NSBEP
• Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred
• Experience in adult mental health and clinical supervision
• Capacity to conduct research and program evaluation
