Reporting to the Avionics Engineering Supervisor, this position is pivotal in ensuring airworthiness, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, analyze design issues, and offer recommendations for upgrades. Your technical insight will also aide in troubleshooting aircraft maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with customers and IMP senior management
• Analyze design deficiencies and propose improvements
• Represent IMP in technical meetings as required
• Prepare engineering reports and ground test plans
• Assist in project management and scheduling
Requirements:
• B. Eng or B. Sc. in Avionics/Electrical Engineering
• Eligibility for registration in ENS
• Robust organizational and presentation skills
• Familiarity with aircraft systems and engineering drawings
• Eligible for Canadian government security clearances
Lead avionics engineering projects at IMP while optimizing life-cycle costs and ensuring compliance.
