This part time position has an end date of one year from the date of hire, with the possibility of an extension, and is ideal for Lister Centre residents who wish to work a few hours per week. Hours of work will include evenings, weekends and early mornings and are up to 15 hours per week.
Reporting to the Conference Services Supervisor, the Facility Assistant (FA) is responsible for overseeing and facilitating operational requirements for room setup-ups, for events being held at the University of Alberta Conference Centre, Peter Lougheed Hall, University Commons and in classrooms across campus that are booked through Conference Services at the University of Alberta. Shifts for these casual positions are scheduled only when required to support our meeting room events and related business.
