In this Intermediate role, you will be responsible for shaping electrical power systems that are critical for the success of Canada’s industrial projects. You will lead the electrical design for both new and existing operations, guiding technical decisions and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your contributions will facilitate reliable and effective industrial settings while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create electrical power distribution designs for industrial sites
• Conduct electrical safety analyses and system studies
• Develop specifications for critical electrical components
• Oversee compliance and regulatory standards in all designs
• Mentor junior engineers in design and project execution
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering for heavy industries
• P.Eng. designation in BC or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency with power system analysis tools
• Robust knowledge of CSA, ANSI, and IEEE regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively within diverse engineering teams
