The City of Edmonton seeks enthusiastic Children's Fitness Instructors to lead our Mini Movers and Super Movers classes for young participants. Engage with preschool and school-aged children while fostering their physical literacy through fun and challenging programming.
In this role, you will create inclusive and progressive lessons in dance and obstacle courses, tailored to diverse skill levels. Your leadership and adaptability will be essential in maintaining an energetic atmosphere and providing exceptional service to families. You will handle documentation, track participant progress, and ensure a tidy class setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct high-energy classes with dance and obstacle courses
• Adapt lessons to meet individual participant needs




• Create a welcoming and motivating atmosphere
• Provide excellent service to community families
• Keep accurate program documentation and evaluations
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or GED
• Proven experience with children's fitness instruction
• Robust organizational and class management skills
• Current First Aid, CPR certifications required
• Successful Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
