Join Carrier Sekani Family Services as a Registered Nurse providing critical support in Vanderhoof, BC's substance use programs. This casual RN position empowers you to make a difference in community health.

In this impactful role, you will engage with clients at various stages of substance use and withdrawal. You will perform within the full scope of nursing practice as required by BCCNM, assisting clients through acute phases while fostering connections with families and community services. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of evidence-informed care tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage care for individuals experiencing withdrawal
• Administer IV therapies and care strategies




• Implement trauma-informed transition approaches
• Provide family advocacy and support services
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting

Requirements:
• Current registration with BCCNM as an RN
• Completion of CPR certification (level C)
• Knowledge of addiction and recovery strategies
• Solid commitment to community health improvement
• Cultural competence in Indigenous healthcare

Your nursing skills will play a vital role in enhancing community well-being in Vanderhoof.
