This position focuses on advancing safety management systems while meeting company and regulatory standards. As a Health and Safety Analyst, you will be involved in risk assessments, safety program implementations, and continuous system improvements. You’ll analyze safety trends, support audits, prepare reports, and contribute to a robust safety culture throughout multiple operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support safety management system enhancements
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments
• Implement and monitor safety programs
• Analyze safety metrics and trends
• Assist in audits and safety training initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in Health and Safety roles
• Degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field
• Knowledge of Canadian safety legislation
• Experience in steel or heavy manufacturing preferred
• Qualified designations like CRSP or CSP are desirable
