Become a key player in energy advocacy with the State of Minnesota as an Energy Infrastructure Analyst in St. Paul. This full time role supports regulatory analysis and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid work workplace.

Working within the Commerce Department, you will analyze proposals for energy infrastructure projects and draft recommendations for the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Energy Infrastructure and Regional Advocacy team and tracking developments across regional and national energy organizations, while gaining insight into critical industry challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft analysis of certificate of need and energy infrastructure dockets
• Assess compliance with statutes, rules, and orders




• Support advocacy at regional and national energy organizations
• Monitor developments and synthesize insights for decision-makers
• Collaborate on position development with stakeholders

Requirements:
• Three years of experience in relevant analysis field
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field
• Experience writing regulatory reports
• Robust oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
