Join the North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services team as a Registered Clinician in Timmins. Provide vital psychotherapy and support to children and families in need of mental health services.
The Registered Clinician role is a crucial full time, 18-month contract that focuses on the behavioural, social, and emotional needs of children and adolescents. With a Master’s degree preferred, you'll work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and effective communication abilities to facilitate assessments and counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver psychotherapy and clinical assessments to youth
• Conduct individual counselling sessions with families
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Promote mental health through cutting-edge strategies
• Maintain annual membership with relevant professional colleges
Requirements:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Registered with relevant Ontario skilled colleges
• Clinical experience in children's mental health
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid G2 or G Class driver’s license required
