Position Overview

1.0 FTE Temporary full‑time teaching position, Grade 4 to 7, beginning September 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027.

This teaching position is based at the Atomic Hockey Academy in Langley, B.C.

Required Qualifications

- Training and experience working with grade‑level students.
- Knowledge and experience working with Brightspace.
- Experience adapting materials, resources, assessments and learning outcomes for student needs.
- Willingness to travel throughout the region as needed.
- Valid B.C. Teaching Certificate and familiarity with the B.C. Curriculum.
- Teaching category five or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with the Standards for K‑12 Distributed Learning in British Columbia.
- A commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs.
- Experience or training in supporting the social‑emotional learning needs of students.
- Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Committed to working as a member of a school team in support of students.

Salary

The starting annual salary for this full‑time teacher position ranges from $66,604 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
