Join Royal Inland Hospital’s dedicated team in Kamloops as a full time Gastroenterologist. This role combines hospital and community practice to deliver high-quality patient care.

As a Gastroenterologist, you will engage in both general gastroenterology and hepatology, participating in the provincial Colorectal Cancer Screening Program. The role includes inpatient consultations and participation in the GI on-call rotation. Experience in GI subspecialties is welcome but not required; a colorectal surgeon with advanced IBD expertise supports your practice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional inpatient gastroenterology consultations
• Participate in the GI on-call rotation for patient care
• Engage with the provincial Colorectal Cancer Screening Program




• Collaborate with general surgeons and skilled RNs
• Facilitate teaching opportunities for medical students and residents

Requirements:
• Medical degree with specialization in gastroenterology
• Ability to operate within a centralized referral system
• Welcome additional GI subspecialty training
• Solid collaboration and communication skills
• Eligibility for full licensure in British Columbia
