This part time role is focused on curriculum development and teaching for two pivotal micro-credentials in bioinformatics. You'll engage students in both theory and practical applications, enabling them to master essential bioinformatics tools. Interaction with students through office hours and constructive evaluations are critical aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver creative curriculum for bioinformatics micro-credentials
• Facilitate hands-on laboratories and learning activities
• Provide constructive feedback to evaluate students' performance
• Support projects that analyze biological data using computational tools
• Contribute actively to meetings and program advancement
Requirements:
• MSc degree in Bioinformatics or related discipline; PhD is a plus
• Preferred post-secondary teaching experience
• Deep understanding of bioinformatics, proteomics, and computational biology
• Robust communication skills in English
• Industry research experience beneficial
