Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, this Mechanic position is crucial for servicing our site’s fleet of equipment. You’ll perform general maintenance, conduct preventative inspections, and provide failure analysis to keep our machinery running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on fuel-powered equipment
• Complete regular Preventative Maintenance Inspections
• Identify necessary parts for repairs from manuals




• Ensure all equipment is protected and functional
• Conduct minor cutting and welding repairs

Requirements:
• Certificate of Qualification in relevant mechanic field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial setting
• Robust knowledge of diesel and gasoline systems
• Experience with locomotives and tracked equipment
• Recently completed CAAT and DAT testing
